HIGHVIEW FARM
SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS FOR SALE

About Highview Farm -

Highview Farm, situated above the Gaspereau Valley in Kings County, Nova Scotia, began in 2000 with 20 cattle imported from Ontario. Yeltsin, purchased in 2000 as a 15-month-old bull took control of the lower pasture while Henry of Cape Breton reigns over the back field. The herd had increased to 90 head including bulls, cows, heifers, and young calves. Fed on hay or natural grass supplemented with beef range minerals and selenium salt, the herd lives outdoors year round. Included in the group are registered as well and non-registered pureblood Scottish Highlands.

Both pastures are completely surrounded by electric fencing and the herd is closely watched by 3 border collies, sometimes answering to the names of Molly, Junior and Lorna.

No growth hormones or antibiotics (unless absolutely necessary and then that animal is not slaughtered) are used.
